    1. Where is Creative Hut Institute located?

    We are located in Mattakkara in Kottayam District of Kerala.

    2. How far is Creative Hut from town?

    Institute is nearly 20kms from Kottayam city and nearly 15kms from Palai city.

    3. How can I reach institute if I come through Bus?

    From Kottayam private bus stand(Nagapadam) one can get bus to Mattakkara (via Ayarkunnam) and get down out Kovoorpadi stop and reach institute with a walking distance of 10mins approx. (300m). Private buses are accessible from Pala to Mattakkara too.

    4. Which is the nearest airport to Creative Hut?

    Cochin Airport (in Nedumbassery) is nearest to our institute which is at nearly 85kms (2.30 hrs) distance.

    5. Which is the nearest railway station to Creative Hut?

    Kottayam railway station which is at 20kms from institute is the nearest railway service with almost all long route trains has halts.

    1. Who can apply for the course?

    Anyone who has passion for photography art can apply for the course.

    2. What are the eligibility criteria for Professional one year course?

    Minimum eligibility required for joining the course is 10th / SSLC pass. While any individual who have passed 12th or plus 2, graduation or post graduation in any stream are also eligible for the course.

    3. What is the admission procedure for the one who wish to register for Professional Course?

    Registration and admission procedure is very simple. By visiting our institute or by online one can complete these procedures. The communication with the institute counselor or faculty followed by the submission of necessary documents, application form and payment of registration fees had to be followed.     4. When do the admissions starts and ends? When is the Last date of admissions for professional photography course?

    For Professional course, our admissions are open for the next upcoming batch and are based on the first come first serve basis. The admission will be closed as when our seats are full. Three levels of admission period are provided for the candidates and will be notified time to time.

    5. What are the age limit or eligibility criteria for crash courses? Does any prior registration is needed for these crash courses?

    There is no age limit or particular eligibility criteria for crash course. Anyone with an interest in learning photography can join. Prior registration is compulsory. Contact the institute office number and get easily registered for the course.

    Candidate can then apply for Professional Diploma in Art of Photography which has nearly 12 specializations in photography without any extra fees. It includes Fashion photography, wildlife photography, photojournalism etc… as well as DSLR videography.     5. Does Creative Hut institute provide any online or distance course in Photography?

    All the courses at Creative Hut Institute are conducted on regular basis which are to be attended regularly. Sorry, as there are no online or distance course in photography are offered here.

    Queries related to Equipments
    1. Will camera be provided by the Institute? Or will I need to purchase my own digital camera?

    Each student must have their own DSLR cameras for the professional diploma courses. Any DSLR camera of any brand as per ones choice has to be brought by the students. Institute does not provide the cameras.
    Each candidate for any short term courses must also bring any DSLR camera if they have. However, Creative Hut will provide camera during the class sessions for the short term courses as per the prior request and availability.

    2. Will laptops be provided by the Institute?

    Students going to pursue professional diploma courses in photography need to bring compulsorily their own Laptop.

    3. What Equipment is compulsory for the course?

    For Professional courses, any DSLR camera with its apt lens and Laptop are compulsory. Other necessary lenses and accessories as per ones study of specializations will be informed to students with their final confirmation to their admission. Those can be bought as per ones requirement and interest.

    4. Does the institute provide any equipments to the students?

    All the institute’s studio equipments, light accessories, etc… will be provided in the campus. Creative Hut’s studio floor is well equipped and one of the largest which is provided and open whole year for students to practice free of cost.

    We will be guiding our students with the vacancies and requirements available at time to time. Also, we help them out with new opportunities in the field of Photography, Videography, Cinematography, Photo Editing, Video Editing.

    The opportunities are wide as the 4 main categories of mass media and communication get open for the students. They can have vast opportunities in photography, videography, photo & video editing.

    1. Does Creative Hut provide or arrange accommodation facilities for students?

    Accommodation that is hostel facilities are provided in the institute campus to all its Professional batch students as well as faculties. Separate hostel facilities are arranged for boys and girls in the campus. And no extra fees need to be paid for the same.

    2. Does Creative Hut provide food facilities for students?

    Institute provides food for students and faculties in the campus without any extra cost.

    3. What are the facilities available at Creative Hut Campus?

    Institute has 4 regular faculties, 4 visiting faculties and further many guest faculties.

    1. What is the medium of instructions during the class?

    English is the prime language used for instruction and class sessions. Hindi and Malayalam are also used for class lectures. Students must have fluency in either English or Hindi or Malayalam.

    2. Will study materials be provided by the Institute?

    You will be provided with necessary study materials either in the form of printed notes, PDFs, videos or books, etc… from time to time as per found necessary according to the course and course syllabus. Whereas students need to follow the class lectures and need to write down the notes as advised by the respective faculties.

    1. Is the certificate issued by Creative Hut approved by State Government / Government of India / University, etc…?

    Institute provides Dual certificate program for one year professional course in Photography. The one year Professional Photography course certificate is provided by the NEAR Foundation on the basis of assessment on theory and practical exams, portfolios etc…
    Also, Our one year Photography course is an approved course under Kerala Government Technical Examinations for Photography (KGTE). Hence, exams and assessment will be carried out by Technical department of Kerala Govt. too and the certificate will be provided accordingly.

    2. Does institute provide any three year degree course?

    Institute at present do not offer any three year degree course.

    3. Does any certificate is provided for Crash courses?

    Institute will provide certificate to candidate as per the duration of the crash courses attended.

    1. Does institute provide any discounts on course fees?

    No discounts are offered for any course

    2. Does the student need to pay the whole fees together?

    The total course or program fees need not be paid together. Students do not need to pay the fees in one time. Easy payable fees structure or fees part time payment facility is provided by the institute. Kindly refer the particular course page in our website to find out its installment or semester payment facility.

    3. Does institute provide any Education Loans?

    Institute do not have direct tie ups with any banks and hence do not provide any loan facilities. However, candidates need to approach various banks by their own and inquire for education loan availability and its procedures.

    4. Does institute provide any scholarships to the students?

    Scholarships are not provided.

    5. Does institute refund any fees amount?

    All the fees paid to institute once against registration fees, course tuition fees, program fees including food and accommodation, etc… are all non-refundable at any circumstances. Students will be refunded with the caution deposit amount that is the security deposit only after the completion of the course duration.
