The time we get to talk, laugh, share and get together strengthens our family bonds. It’s a time when we all get together to settle petty squabbles and quarrels and a time when everyone sits together and eats a good meal.
Food texture shines when food is unique in its taste, texture, colour, or smell. Delicious foods are delicious, mouth-watering, delightful, beautiful, wonderful, comforting and enjoyable.
The taste and flavour of a food product may be interpreted differently if the colour does not match our expectations. They serve as appealing visual cues that alert diners to upcoming flavours and textures.
What I have tried to cover in this chapter is night food, with its different tastes and colours. In food photography, a perfect shot is made with the proper framing of the subject, background, and elements, and timely lighting.
