III. What is the purpose of the field trip to education?
According to photography categories, we divide our Professional Photography Courses into two Semesters. First Semester we include specialization of traveling Photography. The second Semester we include Non-Travelling Photography, based on Studio Photography.

Wildlife Photography Tours
Many of the student’s passion is Wildlife Photography. They never think of the hard work, patience, and time required to become a wild photographer. Many students do not even know the meaning of the word itself. They usually get inspiration after watching National Geographic and Discovery Channel.
Wildlife Photography Tours are a little bit expensive. In every wildlife places, they charge for the entry. A fee has to be paid for entry as entry ticket as well as a cost also has to be paid based on the focal length of a Lens (zoom of the lens).

Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya
For Wildlife Photography one of the best places in Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. Creative Hut takes students to Masai Mara National Park, Kenya. Abin Alex sir our mentor says “it is the heaven for wildlife Photographers”.
Our Photography College takes the student every year to different Wildlife places in India. The first time we went to Ranthambore National Park, Rajasthan. For four trips we didn’t even get a single pics of the wild animal. Later, on the next trips, we got some interesting images. It is only by visiting several wildlife places, again and again, one will start to get amazing wildlife photos.
Interestingly, in Indian wildlife sanctuaries, you need to wait hours to see animals and capture those. While in Kenya, animals are waiting for us to get captured in photos.

IV. How we take the student on a photography tour?
We conduct tours in different ways. Firstly the tour plan is put forward to the students. Traveling in a bike is given first preference. Secondly, we plan the trip in a vehicle arranged by the Creative Hut Institute of Photography.

Explore the Tour individually and get Guided by Faculties
Students need to be independent and learn to report about their project. So here, students are allowed to go and explore places individually under the guidance of Faculty. Every Portfolio is unique and different.
Firstly they prepare the Photography Portfolio Project Plan and get approval from the Faculty. Secondly, they prepare the route map as per their photography places. Once the route map is approved, students are allowed to decide the dates and schedule the same with the Head of the institution’s approval.
While students travel, they share and report every moment directly to the faculty as well as Photography college. Reporting is one major part of the outdoor photoshoot. It also counts in terms of marking. Hence, missing the report may affect the result.
Every tour is part of our class assignments and portfolio. While you travel for photography you are not merely learning photography. You are understanding the culture, people, their lifestyles, and how they live in the society.

1. Mathura and Agra in 2020
Holi Festival Photography Tours is one of the most popular photography tours. This Festival is known as the “festival of colors”. Agra which is the nearest place to Mathura is one of the iconic places of India for Architecture Photography. This year our 13th batch students under the guidance of our Photo mentor and Photographer Abin Alex is traveling to Mathura during the holi fest. The tour will cover photography destinations of Delhi, Mathura, and Agra.
2. Vagamon, in Kerala in 2013 & 2019
Vagamon, a hill station in Kerala is indeed one of the must-visit places for tourists. The students had an interesting experience in Vagamon with its charm, very beautiful and spectacular views, twisting roads, pine forests, flowers, orchids, and hilly landscapes.
Vagamon with the three remarkable hills Thangal, Murugan, and Kurisumala hills represents the three main religions in Kerala, i.e. Hindu, Muslim, and Christian. It represents cultural harmony. It has facilities for mountaineering, rock climbing, paragliding, and trekking. Key tourist centers such as Thekkady, Peermade, and Kulamavu can be directly reached from Vagamon.
3. Kumbamela, Uttar Pradesh in 2019
Prayagraj Ardh Kumbh Mela was the Ardh Kumbh Mela held at Triveni Sangam in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. Under the guidance of Photo Mentor Abin Alex, our students went to this particular place. After the tour, students had the feedback that ” It is heaven for portrait Photography and Art and Culture”.
4. Bhubaneswar & Puri, Orissa in 2019
The tour to Bhubaneswar was guided by faculty Anu Joseph for Architecture and street photography. Our 8 of the students were part of the tour. We visited the following places as part of tour Konark Sun Temple, Dhauli Shanti Stupa, Chilika Lake, etc…
Our Photography college has always given importance to Portfolio and their Specialization. Bhubaneswar and Puri in Orissa were one of the best places for Architecture Photography. We got some of the bird’s photos from Chilika Lake.
5. Dhanushkodi, Tamil Nadu in 2014 & 2018
The photography tour to Dhanushkodi was organized twice. It is a deserted town at the south-eastern tip of Pamban Island of Tamil Nadu, India. It is about 24 kilometers west of Talaimannar in Sri Lanka. During the 1964 Rameswaram cyclone, this town was damaged and remains abandoned in the aftermath.
We took our 11th batch students as part of our practice session. Our 20 students went together under the guidance of the Faculty. Dhanushkodi is the best place for Landscape and Portrait Photography. During the tour, our students visited Dhanushkodi beach, Adam’s Bridge, Pamban Island.
The white sand beach is mainly deserted. So one can have a silent walk on the beach, without any disturbances
6. Kolkota, West Bengal in 2017
The photography tour to Kolkota, the capital city of West Bengal was organized in December 2017. Students of 11th batch with faculty Abin Alex sir had photography experience at various places of West Bengal. The most noted was the photography of village experience. Street and portrait photography was some other categories captured by the students on this tour.
7. Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh in 2017
Varanasi is a city in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. It is the spiritual capital of India. The city draws Hindu pilgrims who bathe in the river Ganga. They believe that with river’s blessed waters they achieve funeral rites.
Varanasi is an unavoidable place for Photographers in the world. Our students’ group from 11th batch along with faculty, visited the place for documentary Videography and photography.
8. Pushkar Camel Fair, Rajasthan 2015 & 2017
Pushkar Mela is also known as Pushkar Camel Fair. Apart from the Pushkar festival, there are many temples and places near to visit. Traveling to the nearest villages to Pushkar Mela, students were able to capture the real village experience and portraits.
One of the tops visited places by photographers in India is Pushkar Mela. Moreover, we can see the number of Photographers waiting to capture the Camels in the Golden hour.
9. Mumbai, Maharashtra in 2017
One of the best places for Street Photography is in Mumbai. Dadar Flower Market, Gateway of India, Dhobi Ghat are the most suggested places. Our students visited these places and enjoyed the spots which were covered as part of our Photography courses.
Students have selected the destination in Mumbai for their photojournalism Course portfolio. Our trips also covered many of these destinations.
10. Jaipur, Rajasthan 2015 & 2017
We call one of the golden destinations in India is Jaipur. Indeed, it has been a great attraction and has excellent places for architecture photography. Such as Jal Mahal Water Palace, Step Well, Ambar Fort, Hawa Mahal, City Place, Jantar Mantar, etc…
The capital city of Rajasthan, Jaipur is also known as “Pink City”. Because of the dominant colors of the buildings in the city, Jaipur is famous for its architecture. One of our favorite destinations in Rajasthan. We travel every year to here, either in a group or individual photography guided trip. We had a group tour under the guidance of Faculty Abin Alex sir in 2015 and 2017. And also carried out individual tours in 2019 and 2020.
11. Thanjavur and Velankanni, Tamil Nadu in 2013
Velankanni a popular pilgrim center for the Church of Mother Mary, nicknamed as Lourde of the East. Thanjavur is also worth visiting the place for Photography. Architecture Photography UNESCO World Heritage site in the Brihadeeswarar Temple is good.
Our Photography School takes the photography tour for students by road. It not only helps us to cover the beauty of Tamil Nadu but also explore the places of Architecture. While traveling by road you will get to capture the villages, portraits, and Landscape Photography.
12. Little Rann of Kutch, Dasada, in 2012
The Rann of Kutch located in the Thar Desert in Gujarat consists of the large Salt marshes. Kutch is the district in Gujarat whereas Rann means the Saltmarsh. One side of Rann of Kutch is covered by desert while on the other side there is a sea. It is known for bird watching and is the only place in India where wild ass can be found. Students and faculties of Creative Hut had a visit to this place to capture those beauties.
13. Udaipur, Rajasthan in 2012
Udaipur city is referred to in many ways. It is known as “the city of lakes”, “Venice of the East”, “the city of Dawn”, “most Romantic City of India” and is also known as “Kashmir of Rajasthan”.
The journey to Udaipur through road was even better to view. Capturing some amazing sites in Udaipur including the Sun Set Point, made this tour to all of us a memorable one.
14. Dhari, Gujarat in 2012
Dhari is situated on the banks of the river Shetrunji in Gujarat. Journey to Dhari kept students engaged to capture images of Dam, river, and the natural surroundings found there.
15. Pavagadh, Gujarat in 2012
Pavagadh hill station in Gujarat is a historical and religious destination. It is also known as “hill of hundred pools”. Pavagadh means “one-fourth hills”. It is known for its beautiful Champaner-Pavagadh Archeological Park.
At the top of the hill is the temple of Goddess Kali “Kali Mata ka Mandir.” The monuments are situated at the foot of and around the Pavagadh hill.
16. Champaner, Baroda Gujarat in 2012
The name Champaner was derived from Champa. Champaner is also called as “city of thousand wells”. Champaner and Pavagadh together make Champaner-Pavagadh Archaeological Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is located in the Panchmahal district in Gujarat, India. There are eleven different types of buildings at Champaner-Pavagadh, which include mosques, temples, tombs, wells, walls, and terraces.
17. Tarnetar Fair, in 2011
One of the most colorful events, the Tarnetar festival is a fair held at the Tarnetar village of Gujarat. It is an annual festival in which the folk dances and folk music are the major attractions. We got an opportunity to visit this three days festival and capture some vibrant moments.
18. Utkantheshwar, in 2011
Utkanheshwar Mahadev Temple located in the village area of Gujarat, India is a temple where the God Shiva is worshiped. We visited this place in 2011 where we could capture various things from in and around the village.
19. Sarkhej Roza
As part of our course, traveling to different states of India and abroad is very important. Students must do field visits and travel to diverse places. For Indoor photography like fashion, product, and automobiles also, the observation and visiting other places are important.
V. What do students say about our photography tours?
Traveling to different places is loved by one and all. Students say that during photography tours, they have experienced the best and worst of any place. They eagerly wait for those tours.
