Every meaningful image is created by the imagination of the photographer. An image is first made in the mind of the photographer, created through his or her heart and captured through the camera.
Photography has the power to unite the people around the world crossing all barriers of languages, places and ages. No matter where you are from, and what you do?; images are understood by one and all with the meaning intended through it.
Colors have greater importance in our lives. They have different meanings and impact on our minds. Each person relates themselves with certain colors. On the other hand, these colors signify a different feeling at different times. Some colors bring happiness, while some are signs of prosperity. Some are our favorites, while some don’t match our choice. The colors in the images makes it attractive and pleasing.
The basic theme of this book was to highlight the commercially valued images with the monochromatic color scheme. While there are lakhs and millions of tints and shades of the colors; I preferred here the most royal and noble color, called Violet, for my portfolio. Based on the theme color Violet, I named my portfolio book as “VIOLA”. The name of the color violet comes from the latin term Viola, that symbolizes innocence, modesty, and decency.
“VIOLA” is my photography portfolio book based on the concept of commercial and advertising photography. It includes the images of Jewelry photography, Food Photography, Product Photography, and Interior Photography, etc… All of the images of these chapters are related to the royal color Violet in the color wheel. Here in this book, viola or violet is the most prominent color used in all the images of the chapters.
