Astrophotography, or photographing the stars, moon, and Milky Way galaxy at night, is one of the most difficult and rewarding genres of landscape photography. Nighttime landscape photography necessitates completely different camera settings and technique than daytime landscape photography, but the results will be well worth the effort. People in this last category believe that images must portray reality and remain untouched to achieve it. They insist on printing a photograph exactly as it was taken.

While this may be true for certain types of “SCENARY” photography, I believe the contrary is true when it comes to art and my work. I thought that discussing my artistic style would help at the time. So I stated that my color changes, adjustments, and visual tweaks were typical of my style and meant to illustrate how I saw the world.
