Who can apply?
- Students from across India can apply.
- Minimum qualification: 12th pass. Diploma, Degree and PG students from any stream, under any recognized State, National or International board or university can also apply.
- Selection is based on Creative Hut Aptitude Task (CHAT).
- No prior experience required. Commitment and intent matter.

We understand that students and their parents would like to get clear answers to very common admission questions. Get clarity to your doubts here.
No prior experience is required. Admission is based on the Creative Hut Aptitude Task (CHAT), which evaluates observation, intent, and creative thinking rather than technical skill.
CHAT is a short creative assignment used in the selection process to understand your visual thinking and originality. It does not require professional photography or filmmaking experience.
Students who have completed 12th or higher can apply, including any diploma, degree and postgraduate students. There is no age restriction, and applicants can apply from any state in India.
This is a practice-led residential programme. The residential model supports disciplined daily practice, consistent mentor critique, and faster portfolio and film outcomes.
Students graduate with a specialisation-based photography portfolio and a documentary or short film. This prepares them for freelance careers, corporate companies, creative studios, media organisations, startups, and higher-study opportunities.
