Here are some portrait photographs which have been taken in Rajasthan (Jaipur) street side. Some beggars were curious to know why their photographs had been taken. There were many questions on their faces.
Many beggars called me mad. One beggar told me “there are plenty of beautiful things in the world why are you taking our photographs”. He made me think for few seconds. Then I told that beggar, who told you that, you are not beautiful”.
This photograph was taken in Jaipur’s busiest street market; they were selling their goods. In scorching sunlight for their daily needs. They don’t know how they save their balance money to give their child gifts or pocket money to purchase snacks or candies. They work hard, for their daily needs without leaving their work. Interestingly, some of them shift their shops from one place to another according to the sales in the market.
Here are some photographs of foreign visitors visiting Jaipur’s historical monuments. They love Indian culture, food, and dresses. They were curious to know about Indian history, and they loved to listen to stories of Kings and Maharajas. Many visitors enjoyed Rajasthani songs and dances. They also danced to Rajasthani songs on the beat of dhol.
