Kathakali is a unique visual art form of Kerala. Additionally the art of Ramanattam was revised to create this. Kathakali roles are mainly green, knife, charcoal, beard and mini. Classical, Chakyar Koothu, Koodiyattam, Krishnattam, Ashtadyadiyattam, Dasiyaattam, Tahrukootu, Theyyam, Thirayattam, Padayani.
Kathakali incorporates elements of various folk art forms. Luminaries like Vallathol conducted experiments and made contributions during the Great Depression, helping Kathakali gain global recognition after being confined to the elite in the early twentieth century.
Aattakatha is the literary form of Kathakali. We estimate that Kottarakkara Thampanar, the Ramanatta Lord, was the unchristian of the literature . There is a legend that Kottarakkara Thiruparankar of Kozhikode king Kozhikkarathathampuran who requsted artists to watch Krishnanttam. Kottiyathu Thampuran had a key role in igniting interest in the Hariharavidivinu literature. Music can also express devotion. Chenda, Madalam, Chekila, Lethal, edakku and Shamq are the songs uesd in Kathakali.In some places, people are organizing the event.
