ONE LAST RIDE

The scene happens in the backdrop of a frosty desert in the midst of storm warning. Disaster Management committee has issued a notice to residents stating every one to be at a safe place and restricted travel to the mountain highways. Police had already put up barricades in the entry and exit sections of the highway. Residents consider the storm as a sign of world’s end. Geologist and climate scientist consider the storm to be one of the biggest storm in the century.

Disaster Management has already arranged vehicles for evacuation if something goes wrong. The road is hardly visible for anyone to see and the rain has already started worsening the condition of the road. The rocks and mountains on the highway side also pose a serious threat of sliding over to the road.

Trackbound Titans

The Hero and Anti Hero had a back story of rivalry and ego clashes. Hero used to be a Nascar Champion. Dominic Torroto, the Hero had a record timing in every track he races and Marcus, the Anti Hero on the other hand finishes second losing every time to the Dom. Marcus at a point gets the hold started defeating Dom. The rivalry became sharp. Slowly they became the center of attraction for every Nascar race.

Audience poured in their money to watch these two fight each other in the track. They both finished first at the exact same time. At that moment they both knew one of them should go down to make things go smooth and simple.

Months passed by after that race, and there was a BMW cup heading up to their way in January, and they both got direct entry because of their fame and talent. Dom was considered the master of drifting, and the wind was on the hero’s side as the track mainly consisted of sharp corners and blind turns. Marcus, however, had a better start, but the start alone didn’t make him a mere competitor. Another character gets introduced in the story, Vin, who finishes second in the race, followed by Marcus is a racer who doesn’t take anything personally,. Vin and Dom were childhood friends who were dreaming of NASCAR Champion- ship.

Vin was too attached to Dom’s brother, who was too much interested in making money selling things. He was the master of marketing. Marcus, envying the winning of the friendly trial, started thinking of the because unfairly defeating Dom was not humanly possible. He wanted to wanted to defeat them emotionally first so that his loss would lead him to a mental stage where he would no longer continue the race. Marcus concluded to kill Dom’s brother without evidence. He carefully executed the murder with the help of professional assassins. The death shook the whole racing industry more over Dom and Vin were emotionally heartbroken.

Dom didn’t attend the main race because of the tragedy, automatically gets disqualified, and Vin, on the other hand, loses concentration on the race, making him finish last in turn reputation and career. Everything in the long Marcus’ plan, he becomes the undisputed Champion.
