INDUSTRY-ORIENTED PROGRAM

Professional Diploma in AI Filmmaking and Digital Cinematography

Visual Language AI Cinema Workflow

Every image whether photographed, designed, generated, or filmed speaks a visual language of its own. It carries structure, rhythm, meaning, and emotion beyond words. This programme begins with the language of image, builds a strong foundation in photography, light, lens, and visual storytelling, and gradually leads students into cinematic thinking, AI-assisted image generation, video creation, sound design, editing, and final film production. Through guided practice, production exercises, critical review, and portfolio-based learning, students move from understanding images to constructing narratives and creating complete visual works with clarity, intention, and technical control.

  • Course Overview

One-year residential diploma in AI filmmaking, digital cinematography, photography, and post production.

Build visual thinking, photographic understanding, cinematic language, and AI-assisted production skills in one year. This residential programme begins with visual language, visual literacy, photography, light, lens, and narrative image-making, then progresses into cinematic storytelling, screenplay development, AI-assisted image generation, AI video production, sound design, editing, grading, and final film output. Students learn through guided practice, studio exercises, production-based assignments, reviews, and portfolio development that prepare them for contemporary visual media workflows.

The course is not limited to software training alone. It develops visual communication through image grammar, composition, light, rhythm, and narrative structure, helping students understand how photographs, moving images, and AI-assisted visuals communicate meaning in professional media practice.

  • PDAC Syllabus – Semester I

Visual language, photography foundations, lighting design, narrative image-making, and digital workflow.

Semester I syllabus for AI filmmaking and photography training at Creative Hut

Semester I establishes the foundation of visual literacy, visual communication, and photographic vision. Students learn how images communicate through visual elements, composition, light, spatial relationship, rhythm, and image grammar. The semester develops technical control and visual understanding through photography, lighting, narrative image-making, editing, and guided practice across different genres.

    • PDAC101: Visual Language & Image Grammar Study of visual elements, composition, balance, rhythm, spatial relationship, and meaning-making through images. Students learn how visuals function as a structured language in communication.
    • PDAC102: Photographic Vision: Camera, Lens & Exposure Understanding camera operation, lens behaviour, focal length, exposure, depth, and visual decision-making through technical and creative photography practice.
    • PDAC103: Lighting Design for Photography Study of light as a primary element of visual communication. Students learn light direction, intensity, quality, contrast, and mood using natural light, studio lighting, and advanced lighting setups. The subject develops visual literacy by showing how light shapes form, depth, atmosphere, and emotional meaning in photographic and cinematic images.
    • PDAC104: Narrative Photography & Visual Storytelling Development of story through still images, sequencing, subject relationship, emotion, context, and image-based narrative construction.
    • PDAC105: Digital Image Editing & Workflow Image selection, correction, tonal control, colour adjustment, retouching, file organisation, and digital workflow discipline for professional output.
    • PDAC106: Photography Portfolio Project Creation of a curated photography portfolio that reflects technical control, visual literacy, genre understanding, and narrative clarity.
    Photography & Visual Storytelling Specialisations Travel • Wildlife • Sports • Architecture • Automotive • Food • Product • Fashion • Advertising

Semester I emphasis: Visual Literacy → Visual Language → Photography → Lighting → Narrative Image → Digital Workflow.

Cinematic storytelling, screenwriting, AI-assisted image and video production, sound, editing, and final film output.

Semester II syllabus for AI filmmaking and digital cinematography at Creative Hut

Semester II extends visual language into cinematic storytelling and AI-assisted film production. Students study shot structure, screenplay development, visual sequencing, sound-image relationship, editing, and finishing, while working with AI tools for image and video generation. The focus remains on visual communication and narrative clarity, ensuring that technology supports storytelling rather than replacing visual thinking.

    • PDAC201: Cinematic Language & Visual Storytelling Study of shot structure, framing, camera movement, continuity, sequencing, visual rhythm, and cinematic narrative construction.
    • PDAC202: Screenwriting & Film Pre-Production Story concept development, screenplay basics, storyboard planning, shot division, character development, and production preparation.
