    Specialize in Wildlife Photography & Filmmaking: This specialization is part of the Professional Diploma in the Art of Photography & Cinematography (PDAP). You’ll build a focused portfolio in both wildlife photography and wildlife documentary filmmaking.

    Foundation first, specialisation next: Without learning photography, lighting, detail, colour, cinematography, story, script/screenplay, and editing, you can’t become a sustainable wildlife photographer or cinematographer.       Yes. Students who have completed Class 12 in any stream, as well as undergraduates and graduates, can apply. The curriculum begins with photography fundamentals and progresses to advanced wildlife and documentary filmmaking specialisation.

    • What will my portfolio include?

      Dual portfolio: wildlife stills + short documentary film.

      You’ll graduate with a wildlife photography portfolio featuring birds, mammals, reptiles, amphibians, and insects, captured across diverse natural habitats and lighting conditions. Along with this, you’ll produce a wildlife short film that demonstrates your storytelling, editing, and cinematography skills. Both of these are then reviewed and certified by mentors for professional submission to media houses, NGOs, film festivals, and conservation projects.

    • Are there field tours or safaris?

      National tours in Kerala & India | International tours available (permits dependent).

      Yes. Students participate in guided field tours and wildlife safaris across Kerala and India. International expeditions such as Kenya and Tanzania are also organised, depending on seasons, permits, and readiness.

    • Are photography tour costs included in the course fee?

      National and international tours have separate costs.

      No. All tour costs are separate. Students need to cover the cost of travel, permits, accommodation, and food, while the institute handles mentorship, coordination, safety, and educational objectives for every expedition.

    • Do you accept students from all over India?
