Studio Kaev is a design and 3D animation studio that also specializes in cinematography and photography. The name “Kaev” is derived from a unique combination of letters from my parents’ names, Kabita and Sanjeev. By taking the first two letters of my mother’s name (“Ka”) and the last two letters of my father’s name (“ev”), I created the name “Kaev.”
When it came to designing the logo, I went back to the fundamentals, where every design typically starts with a circle or a three-dimensional sphere. Circles are essential in my studio’s work, as they represent the golden ratio and are integral to both design and the fields of cinematography and photography. Therefore, I decided to create my logo using parts of a circle.
